DECLARING MONDAY, 26 JANUARY 2026, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CARIGARA, PROVINCE OF LEYTE

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Carigara, Province of Leyte will mark the celebration of its 455th Founding Anniversary on 25 January 2026, which falls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Municipality of Carigara to fully participate in the occasion, the Sangguniang Bayan requested that 26 January 2026, Monday, be declared as a special (non-working) day in lieu of 25 January 2026;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Carigara be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Monday, 26 January 2026, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Carigara, Province of Leyte.
